ABOUT THIS TRIP

Join the Boston Birding Festival for this walk at one of the most popular birding locations on the East Coast.

Fun fact: More than 360 of Massachusetts’s 523 state-listed birds have been seen at Parker River.

We’ll consolidate the cars and explore the pannes, dunes, and trails of the  Refuge, looking for fall migrants and shorebirds as the tide recedes and the sun begins to set. This is often a wonderful trip for photographers as the location at sunset (7:07 pm) can be striking.

Loaner binoculars are available—please email us in advance. Beginners welcome. Spaces limited. Please register in advance.

See you out there!
