ABOUT THIS TRIP

Millennium Park is a 100-acre reclaimed urban park built on a former landfill, then covered over with fill from the Big Dig. Today, it is a surprisingly birdy habitat, beloved by locals, and often a good place for surprises during fall migration. It’s been especially good for sparrows and woodpeckers.

We’ll explore some two miles of these trails and see what we can find. Expect some late warblers, interesting sparrows, and more.

New birders are always welcome, and we have binoculars to lend.
