ABOUT THIS TRIP

Join the Boston Birding Festival for this small-group walk at one of the most important and dazzling birding locations on the East Coast.

Fun fact: More than 360 of Massachusetts’s 523 state-listed birds have been seen at Parker River.

We’ll consolidate the cars and explore the pannes, dunes, and trails of the Refuge, looking for migrants—and maybe some butterflies.

New birders and the merely bird curious are welcome on this walk. This is a walk with beginners in mind! Please don’t hesitate. A few pairs of loaner binoculars are available—please email us in advance.

Spaces limited. Please register in advance!

See you out there!

Plum Island at twilight, overlooking the northe pool. Glassy surfaces as darkness grows.

GOOD TO KNOW
