TRAILS
We will be walking on roadsides, hard-packed dirt, and gravel paths for most of this trip. Expect some elevation and biting insects. Sunscreen and bug spray are encouraged.
FACILITIES
Restrooms are available at a nearby Dunkin Donuts. We recommend bringing a water bottle.
The South Shore Bird Club (SSBC) was founded in 1946, and the first members set out to explore and share the birds and birding habitats of the South Shore of Massachusetts.
We still concentrate on a variety of mainly local field trips. Many trips involve car-pooling.
Non-members are always welcome.
The Brookline Bird Club (BBC) is America’s most active bird club and one of the oldest in the nation. Membership is open to all who are interested in birds and nature.
The BBC offers an extensive program of year-round field trips, covering the entire state of Massachusetts from the Berkshires to Stellwagen Bank, New England, and beyond. Guests are welcome on Club walks and at talks, and at Club meetings.
